Love and Holiness

Ephesians 1:4 Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love

1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, You shall be holy because I am holy.

God chose us in his great love so that we may be holy. God is able to do what he says. So if we are experiencing God’s love then we must experience his holiness too otherwise we will be deceived.

Also because of his love, we are called to respond to God as he desires in 1 Peter 1:16 by being holy. If we are really grateful to God for his great salvation then the convictions of the Holy Spirit will flow over us moment by moment, driving us to repentance and creating in us a zeal to be holy and also  God’s power can help us to overcome the enslaving passions of temptations before they are birthed onto sin.

All this is possible because of God’s great salvation which was given to us “in love“.

Genuine faith sanctifies us

Rom 13:14 Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires.

The same trusting faith that saves us is the faith that also helps us lead a Godly life. Many a times our failures and the power of sin discourages us. If we properly learn to trust like Christ and depend on God, we can press on to a victorious life overcoming these failures.

What is faith? According to Heb 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen.

Today you may be discouraged And in many ways feel burdened by the commandments of God. Then you have not understood accurately or misunderstood faith.faith is “not a lottery” that keeps you wondering whether its possible to live a Godly life. Rather Faith “produces an evidence” of a invisible God in our visible life. God is the producer, we are his ground , his field to sow. We need,a believing, trusting and honest heart and the gardener will do everything else in a divine glorious manner.

Our victory over all hindrances to a godly life in Christ and in becoming like him is a certainty , a reality as real as the fact that he has died on the cross so also we have been blessed to share in God’s power, his nature and way of thinking by the power of the Holy Spirit provided we have faith _ 2 peter 1:4

Without faith it is impossible to please God.

If you are failing and feel weak then pray to God and confess saying “Lord no matter what my experience says but only your word is true.My failure is a sign of my own effort and strength but victory and deliverance are a sign of your strength. Therefore I need the Gift of faith. Help me”

So start with the faith , trust in God.God’s will is clear and he wants his children free from every bondage so he pours himself today within you as Holy Spirit.

So is there any thing that the eternal, almighty God cannot do ? Can our Father demand a holy life and yet cannot give us the power to live such a life? What does your faith say?

Be sure of this, as you were saved , completely by Gods mercy and, grace in the same way with the same faith you will win the battles of life by his power, his strength, his grace. When we have unbelief we say “can’t” and “maybe” but by saving faith we confess “surely” such a life and victory is possible in Jesus name . Only those that believe these precious promises by FAITH will overcome sin, Satan and the world.

Be zealous and press on to the upward call of Christ in holiness, righteousness and a life that is pleasing to God. No longer by your strength but in God Almighty’s strength. Then we shall “be” the light of the world as our Lord Jesus and will be among the faithful few who are prepared for the coming of the Lord.

According to your faith, it will be done to you.

May the gracious Father and our Lord Jesus Christ open our eyes to see this truth.

Check for pulse, is your faith dead?

James 2:22  You see, his [Abraham’s] faith and his [Abraham’s] actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.

Faith starts by trusting in Jesus, Faith becomes complete by living 100% for Jesus. Be determined to be doers of the word , Be among the few that will lower themselves under God’s mighty hand and obey his commandments. You will be lifted up and honored by God himself.

James 2:26 Faith without obedience is dead faith

Be secure in God’s love

Enjoy God's love

Joh 17:23  I am in them and You are in Me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that You sent Me and that You love them as much as You love Me.

Dear believer, Be comforted in knowing that our Lord and savior Jesus Christ prayed for you on the earth and continues to intercede in the heavens too.  Jesus wanted us to understand and experience God’s love (John 17:23).This is a fantastic truth about the extent of God’s love for believers. Our heavenly father’s love protected Jesus from calamities, enemies , gave strength in physical trials and discouragement and resurrected Jesus and exalted him far above every other name.

Just like Lord Jesus, humble yourself and obey God so that you  too can be assured of his glorious love . This was the strength of  Jesus and now it can be your strength too! Imagine the freedom from all day to day anxiety , insecurity, fear and continuous and complete security, peace and rest knowing God is working for us , his children every moment.

God’s love will do the same for you. The almighty God , our heavenly father will come to our aid whenever we call on him.  God calmed storms for Jesus  (Mat 8:26)  , He protected him from premature death and  from his enemies (Luke 4:29 ).

God is glorious, Gentle , reassuring, mindful about us. We have such an infinite ,almighty , all powerful God reaching out to us and watching over us. Why should we be anxious and fearful of life?

Receive this truth from God and be set free from every care and fear.

All of God’s commandments are fences made for our protection. Shouldn’t God’s love and truth make us obey him more and more? There is a great joy prepared for those who are willing to surrender to God in this manner.

Do you want this Joy?

Heb 10:7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God
